From July, 2007 through June 30, 2012 the Economic Development Department made Twenty-two announcements representing 4,139 new jobs with over one billion new capital investment for Lenoir County. Eleven were local companies expanding; Eleven were new companies. 

Our activities and programs are aimed at improving the economy of Lenoir County by

attracting or creating investment to expand the tax base; and by creating jobs, wages

and personal incomes.
